Getting to understand people and helping them to live full lives, feel good about themselves, be connected, and recognize and express their own uniqueness – this is what interests and motivates me. I find my work both fulfilling and a lot of fun – transforming teams, individuals and organizations through clear processes and through interaction based on esteem, authenticity and empathy, and supporting them on the journey from the status quo to the desired outcome. As well as feeling more energized and fulfilled in your work, success, achieving goals and optimized performance are also natural flow-on effects from this process.

My clients often tell me I have a strong presence and am challenging yet empathetic, while at the same time I have good structuring and analytical skills and project a calm force.

Pre aergon

While doing my psychology degree at the universities of Potsdam and Regensburg, I spent a year studying abroad in Spain. I also completed various internships, both in Germany and abroad, which gave me a grounding in the field of recruitment and organizational development. In addition to occupational psychology and organizational psychology, at this time I also discovered my interest in intercultural psychology, which led me to undertake additional studies in “Intercultural Action Competence”.

After finishing my degree I initially went to England, where I completed a PhD at the University of Worcester, in collaboration with the West Mercia Constabulary, on the topic “Applying Career Competencies in Career Management”. During this time I also worked at the Centre for People @ Work at the University of Worcester, where I acquired skills such as developing competency models and designing and delivering training courses. While working as a freelancer in the field of candidate selection and professional development, for clients including the Greater Manchester Police and Quest Ltd., I was also able to extend and reinforce my skills as an assessor. During this time I discovered my passion for coaching psychology, and qualified as a Life Coach – laying the foundation for my current work in this field.

Since 2008 I have been helping managers, teams and companies through transformation processes. My extensive professional experience combined with my comprehensive psychology studies enable me to determine my client’s needs with precision, both at the individual, team and organizational levels, to design and initiate customized programs, and to facilitate the process right through to the final result. To ensure that I remain equal to this task going forward, I constantly work on my own personal development. For example, from 2011 to 2015 I trained as a People-Centered Facilitator at the GFK institute in Zurich.

Besides aergon

In September 2016 I started up my own company, Springtide GmbH, dedicated to facilitating the development of managers, teams and organizations – work that I really enjoy and am passionate about.

I live in the countryside near Zurich with my husband and three daughters. I enjoy a very full family life, and I find relaxation in the outdoors, through Pilates, and reading a good book. As part of my journey as a parent I am actively involved in the local parenting education program, and in my free time I am learning more about educational culture.
