Dr. Mélanie Huser
Managing Partner
Situations that others experience as queasy and stressful fascinate me. With calmness, openness and humor, I facilitate transformation both in everyday situations, as well as under tricky circumstances. I am fulfilled by empowering teams to create the culture that they thrive in; I equally enjoy coaching organizations after re-organizations or mergers to transform the resentment and frustration into a connected, honest and appreciative culture.
Based on my personal biography, I also love to accompany leaders in living a more authentic life, more aligned with their personal values, passions and aspirations. And in doing so, inspire others to do the same.
My frequently heard client feedback: I am empathetic, inspiring and have a sharp intellect.
Before aergon
My professional journey has also been one of self-discovery:
- After completing my medical studies at the University of Zurich in 2010, I worked as a doctor of internal medicine and emergency medicine in various hospitals in the canton of Zurich.
- After four years, I became a senior physician in the emergency ward of the University Hospital Zurich, responsible for the correct diagnosis and treatment of patients as well as for the management of 12 residents. Externally, this was a huge success, my environment was enthusiastic - only I felt dissatisfied, empty.
- In 2015, I decided to follow my intuition; I left Switzerland and my life as a doctor and spent 2.5 years abroad in Buenos Aires and Barcelona. It was a deep journey of self-discovery as well, and gradually I discovered a new, more authentic identity, also thanks to the Master's degree in "Coaching and Personal Leadership" at the University of Barcelona
- Since 2018 I have been working at aergon, and I consider it a great privilege to be able to do what fulfills me deeply: To accompany people and organizations to be more authentic and connected (with themselves and others).
Besides aergon
I am a proud mother of two toddlers who fill me up, make me laugh, and challenge me in equal measure. I love spending time in nature with them and my husband Sascha. Sports is another passion; I've been teaching yoga with sparkling eyes and open heart since 2011, and when I can find some extra time in my day, I do high-intensity boosters (a kind of power pilates), go out to eat with friends, or dance West Coast Swing.
